Community Use
From exercise classes to weddings, the church building and grounds are available for a variety of community uses – And with our recently installed lift, the doors are truly open to all!
Non-profit groups
The fellowship hall is available at no rental fee by non-profit Nelson groups for:
educational activities
wellness activities
cultural activities
charitable activities
non-political civic engagement activities
Please note that we may request coverage of custodial and heating costs depending on attendance, weather and type of event.
Weddings
The sanctuary, fellowship hall and kitchen can be rented for weddings and receptions.
Funerals and memorial services
There is no charge for using the sanctuary for funerals and memorial services, though donations are gratefully accepted.
Baptisms
Baptisms can take place during the worship service, for babies, youth, and adults. We are always happy to welcome a person into the Christian faith.
Private events
The fellowship hall and kitchen can be rented for:
family reunions
baby showers
other social events
